ShoutEx is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to help us grow some of our clients’s presence across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Reddit. If you love great content, clever writing, and building community in authentic ways, you’ll fit right in.

What You'll Do

• Help shape and grow the voice of some of the startups we manage. Our tone is smart, encouraging, and a little playful

• Write short, punchy posts that feel real and make people stop scrolling

• Repurpose content across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Reddit with channel-specific tone and format

• Use AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Notion AI, and scheduling tools like Later or Buffer to create, test, and manage content

• Research trends and source engaging content from the HR, recruiting, and university world

• Stay current on Gen Z culture, student life, and job search trends that matter to our audience

• Engage directly with people across platforms. Leave thoughtful comments, reply authentically, and build trust

• Build a meaningful presence on Reddit by contributing value to conversations rather than just self-promotion

• Use tools like Keywords Everywhere and other SEO/social research platforms to see what’s working — and what’s not

What We’re Looking For

• You love social media and can spot great content when you see it

• You’re curious about AI and already use tools like ChatGPT or Notion AI in your workflow

• You’re not afraid to jump into a conversation, leave a smart comment, or DM someone with something useful

• You care about tone, voice, and making content that actually helps people

• Prior experience is not required, but a startup mindset is. You take initiative, figure things out, and get things done

The Details

• Remote role — work from anywhere

• We encourage all to apply, especially students, recent grads, and creatives who want to grow with a fast-moving team

• This is a part-time role, with an estimated work load of 5 hours per week.
