From concept to market
Dishcus is a restaurant reputation SaaS platform designed to help restaurants hear from more customers and act on feedback before problems become public reviews. ShoutEx worked across the product, brand and go-to-market strategy to turn the idea into a market-ready SaaS offering.
Methodology
We started with the core restaurant problem: feedback is fragmented across Google, Yelp, delivery platforms and private conversations. We shaped the product and messaging around a simpler value proposition: give restaurants one place to understand guest sentiment, capture private feedback and generate more reviews from happy customers. From there, we developed the UX, positioning and acquisition strategy together. Restaurant-specific landing pages and QR experiences made the product easy to deploy at the individual location level, while direct outreach and real-world restaurant conversations helped test the positioning and identify what
The Solution
A restaurant-focused SaaS experience that combines public reviews and private guest feedback, helping teams spot recurring service issues without juggling multiple platforms.
QR-driven feedback experiences give each restaurant its own destination. Guests can provide feedback directly, while happy customers can be encouraged to continue to Google and leave a public review.
We built the brand, messaging and GTM around clear operational outcomes rather than software features: hear complaints earlier, understand guest sentiment and strengthen online reputation.
The launch strategy combined digital acquisition with personalized direct mail. Restaurant-specific postcards and QR codes connected physical outreach directly to tailored landing pages, creating a measurable path from prospecting to product discovery.
The Results
Dishcus moved from an early product concept into a market-ready SaaS platform with a defined audience, positioning, product experience and repeatable GTM strategy.
Where we are now
Dishcus became more than a product build. It became a live test of product-market fit, positioning and customer acquisition. The team used direct conversations, digital campaigns and personalized direct mail to put the product in front of real restaurant operators, collect feedback and continuously refine the offer. The work also helped establish a repeatable approach to personalized physical outreach, with restaurant-specific creative, QR codes and landing pages connecting each prospect directly to a relevant digital experience.
